New After-Hours TeleTriage Services at New Ulm Regional Veterinary Center

The Landing Veterinary Hospital shares the after-hours calls on a rotational basis with other clinics in the Gibsons/Sechelt area. On the nights our clinic is on call, we are supported by Animal Health Link ( AHL).  AHL offers remote teletriage veterinary services. They combine veterinary health information, human triage research, and modern technology to assess your concerns and determine appropriate next steps. We are excited to provide our clients with the peace of mind this after hours service will provide. If you have any questions about our emergency process feel free to reach out to us.

Step 1

Call

If you have a veterinary medical concern after hours, call the clinic's main line.

Call: (507) 233-2500

Step 2: RVT Support

An experienced Animal Healthlink Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) will answer.

Step 3: Teletriage

The RVT will ask a series of questions and may use pictures and videos to assess your pet.

Step 4: Stable

If your pet is stable the RVT will give you instructions as well as provide your veterinarian with a full report.

Step 5: Emergency

If your pet requires immediate attention, the RVT will arrange for them to be seen by the on-call veterinarian.
